Future Events

Hi everyone!

The ECEGSS would like to first thank all the volunteers who have helped us through the year to organize all the events. None of the events would have been possible without their help. We also would like to thank all the participants who are the main driving force for us to plan all these events. Thank you to everyone!

For future events we have heard some really great ideas from individual students. We would like to take this opportunity to invite those interested in planning subsequent events to contact us. We will be happy to provide as much as support as we can for your events.

If you are:

  1. An ECE graduate student and would like to have an event, please contact Mario (mario.badr@mail.utoronto.ca) to discuss your event’s details.
  2. A group representative and would like to have a social event for your group, please contact Aynaz (aynaz@eecg.toronto.edu) to discuss the financial issues.

We are looking forward to hearing from you all!

Best regards,

The ECEGSS Executives.

Thank you for making our events throughout the year so successful . In order to help the ECEGSS to organize more exciting events we kindly ask you to contribute $2/person for this event. The exact change would be greatly appreciated J.

Hope to see you all there.

Cheers,

The ECEGSS.

Persian New Year

Hi fellow ECE grads,

In harmony with the rebirth of nature, the Persian New Year has always been the first day of spring, called Nowruz. The ECEGSS is pleased to celebrate Nowruz this year with the help of our volunteers (Parisa, Atena, Zhino, and Peyman). All ECE graduate students are welcome to attend.

The event will be held at the ECE grad. lounge (BA5157) on Monday March 25th, from 3pm to 5pm.

We will have a traditional table setting of Nowruz (a.k.a., Haft-Seen), a small collection of Persian arts, some games, and Persian treats.

Hope to see you all there and Happy Nowruz!

Cheers,

The ECEGSS.
