  • Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) Info Session

    On Monday March 20th, a representative from Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) will be coming to UofT to give an information session targeted towards graduate students in engineering. If you have recently completed an engineering degree or are currently an Engineer In Training, or are just confused about what to do to become a P.Eng., then this seminar is for you!

    You will learn:

    – What engineering experience PEO is looking for

    – How engineering experience is evaluated by PEO

    – How you can facilitate the evaluation process

    – How to prepare your Experience Record

    – What the PPE is

    The event will be held in SF1101 at 6pm, all engineering graduate students are welcome. We hope to see you there!

  • St. Patrick’s Day Pub Night

    On Thursday March 16th, the University of Toronto Engineering Graduate Student Associations will be celebrating St Patrick’s Day at Supermarket in Kensington Market! All engineering grad students are welcome to attend!

  • CUPE Information & Discussion Session

    The ECEGSS & the other engineering grad student associations will be hosting an information session with CUPE. There will be CUPE representatives there to give a presentation on your rights and responsibilities as RA’s/TA’s. There will also be free pizza for lunch!

  • Coffee Break: Aztec New Year Edition

    In keeping with our (newly established) tradition, the ECEGSS will once again be hosting a coffee break on the last Friday of the month, Feb. 24th. This falls only a couple of weeks before the Aztec New Year, so we will be celebrating with traditional Mexican pastries.

  • Job Search & Labour Market Workshop

    2nd Career Workshop TV Banner NEW

    The Chem, Civil, Biomed and Electrical & Computer Engineering Graduate student associations have teamed up with the Career Centre to deliver a workshop on Job Search & the Labour Market. In this workshop, we will provide an overview of reliable sources of labour market information specific to graduate students. You will be able to reflect on your career desires and develop a plan to explore and search for opportunities that match your desires and assets.

    Join us in WB116 on Thursday, February 23 between 12pm and 2pm. Free pizza and pop will be provided. If you plan to attend, please register here so we can plan accordingly.
